The Installation meeting of the Pride of Surrey Tabernacle No. 184 was held on Friday the 19th of May 2023 at the Sutton Masonic Hall. As unfortunately some of the Tabernacle members were unable to attend, V.Em.Kt.Pts. Chris Eley and Dr Miguel Godfrey came along to assist in the installation ceremony.
The Tabernacle was opened by the High Priest, V.Em.Kt.Pt. Jim Cranefield, who welcomed everyone to the Tabernacle, and especially our visitors who assisted with the ceremony.
The main item on the agenda was to install Em.Kt.Pt. David Thompson as High Priest. This was done in a most sincere manner by V.Em.Kt.Pt. Jim Cranefield…
…assisted by V.Em.Kt.Pts. Chris Eley and Dr Miguel Godfrey.
The High Priest then appointed his Officers and invested those present.
The High Priest thanked Chris and Miguel for supporting both him and the Tabernacle, and they in turn wished V.Em.Kt.Pt. David an enjoyable year.
There being nothing further for the good of the Order in general; or this Tabernacle in particular, the Tabernacle was closed with solemn prayer, and the members of Holy Trinity Tabernacle and their guests sat down to a most convivial meal together at the Sutton Masonic Hall.
