On Saturday 5th March 2022, the Grand Superintendent of Knight Templar Priests, District 15, Right Eminent Knight Priest Jack Love, was joined by Knight Priests with friends and families at the Surrey County Club in Guildford for a fundraising dinner.
The Club was established in 1882 in a converted 'gentleman’s' townhouse on Guildford High Street. In its early years the Club’s membership was exclusively elderly military gentlemen. The County Club boasts a membership consisting of male and female professionals working in Guildford.
The evening kicked off at 6 pm with reception drinks in the private bar. At 7.00 pm Jack invited everyone to join him in the dining room for a sumptuous meal of a trio of fish with king prawns, followed by fillet steak sourced by our very own Master Butcher Ill Kt Pt David Ford, and concluding with cheese and biscuits.
After the meal, thanks to the generosity of many of the guests who brought prizes, there was a raffle which raised magnificent sum for the Pillar Fund.
A huge thank you goes to everyone who supported Jack in building our coffers in support of the Pillar Fund to purchase a permanent home for The Order to mark its Centenary in 2024.
