The District Grand Superintendent, Jack Love, and his wife Jenny opened up their garden to the regulation six people, the boys on one table with the wine and the girls on the other table, without the wine.
The now Past Second Provincial Grand Principal of the Royal Arch Province of Surrey, E.Comp. Steve Dingvean, attended with his wife, Jo, and the District Recorder, Ill Kt PT Steve Jones, and his wife Karen.
Numerous bottles of fine wine were drunk, including a bottle of 'Stones and Bones' which was described as “acidic” by Steve Dingvean, but that didn’t stop him drinking it.
The host treated his guests to a fish starter followed by a BBQ of steak, and some rather nice sausages!
E.Comp. Steve pledged that he would join Knights Templar and ultimately Knight Templar Priests given certain circumstances, so watch this space!
Let’s hope the social distancing measures are relaxed soon so our District Grand Superintendent can hold another of his popular Garden Parties.
